Tiffany Yi

K-Beauty's first-mover in America. Founder · Educator · Mentor · Team Builder.

Short bio (50 words)

Tiffany Yi is the founder of Angelic Beauty and the first lash specialty studio operator in Virginia. Since 2016 she has built three studios across the U.S. and Korea, taught a 20-artist team, and runs the Angelic Academy — a private K-beauty training program in skin, scalp, and eyelash care.

Long bio (150 words)

Tiffany Yi opened Angelic Lashes in Fairfax, Virginia in 2016 — the state's first lash specialty studio, and the first lash artist and lash trainer in Virginia. For the next decade she traveled repeatedly to Korea to train at the source: cysteamine-based Eco Lash Lift in Korea, LED extension technique in Japan, K-Facial protocol with Korean estheticians.

In 2024 she expanded to a second Virginia location in Sterling and opened a Jeju, Korea studio — not as a workshop trip, but as an active training studio for the technique that became her signature K-Facial protocol. Today, Angelic Beauty operates three studios across two countries with a 20-artist team. Tiffany teaches the Angelic Academy — a private, one-day intensive certification program in skin, scalp, and eyelash care — and many of her graduates now work at Angelic.

Topics I'm best on

Story angles.

  • Building a beauty brand across two countries — the realities of running studios in the U.S. and Korea simultaneously.
  • "Most K-beauty in America is K-beauty from three years ago." Why the bridge between Korea and America still has to be walked.
  • Founder-led education models — the hiring pipeline that comes from teaching what you do.
  • The Eco Lash Lift system — Korea's original cysteamine-based keratin lift, brought to America first.
  • What U.S. lash and skin artists most often miss about Korean technique.
