Teaching philosophy

Watching a student outgrow me is the goal.

I don't teach the way most beauty schools teach — slides, mannequins, certificates handed out at the end of a weekend. I teach the way I was taught in Korea and Japan: hands-on, on real clients, with a mentor over your shoulder telling you the truth.

Small classes are not a marketing line. Four students per cohort, max. I touch every set. I correct every angle. By the end, you don't just have a certificate — you have a way of working that holds up in a real chair, with a real client paying real money.

And after you graduate, I don't disappear. The Academy alumni group has me in it, every week. The artist who joins my class today might be running a chair in two years and a studio in five. That's the pipeline I'm building.

What three days with me looks like.

Day 01 · Foundation

What I get asked the most.

Do I need experience to apply?

For K-Facial, no — beginners welcome. For ANGELIC LED™, prior lash certification is helpful but not required; I cover technique from foundation if needed. For Eco Lash Lift™, basic lash experience is helpful but not required.

Do you provide a kit and product?

Yes. A starter kit is included with each certification, plus the K-beauty products we use in our studios. You leave with everything needed to take a paying client the next day.

Certificates are issued by Angelic Academy. Many states accept them; certification requirements vary, so check your state board's specific rules. I provide all documentation needed.

I hire from the Academy first. Graduates have first call to interview at our Fairfax, Sterling, or Jeju studios. Not everyone gets an offer — but if your work meets the standard, you get the call.
